First Floor takes up the challenge
If you’ve spent the last week a bit bemused by the seemingly growing trend of men (and some lucky boys) sporting moustaches then you’ve probably never heard of Movember.The month formerly known as November has been hijacked by the Movember initiative dedicated to mens health issues, in order to raise awareness (and funds) for such charities as The Prostate Cancer Charity here in the UK.
The idea is that men, everywhere, cultivate their upper lip’s hairy plumage for an entire month and their friends, families, loved ones (ie: ‘Mo Sistas’ - the female support network) sponsor them in their efforts and in turn help raise money for a good cause.
Now those of you who’ve climbed mountains for charity, or run marathons etc, would be forgiven for thinking that this seems like a relatively ‘easy’ way of raising money. However we’d urge you to spare a thought for those that find growing a few whiskers here and there about AS challenging as reaching the top of Everest (some of which dwell here at The Partners).
Some of the team members on our First Floor here in our London office have decided to give it a whirl and 11 days in to the month I thought I’d show you all how they’re getting on.
